barbieri
I am lvl 70 magic and lvl 60-ish att def and str. Combat lvl 81. What do you think of Void Knight armor? My impression, by comparing stats and price, is that it would be an excellent choice for magic but sucks for melee, compared to dragon but also to granite or rune. (I do not know about range.) Is it worth spending a week in PC to get the full set? Or do I just get one or two pieces and mix and match with... splitbark? What magic armor would be best at my lvl? How about splitbark? Seems pretty good to me, it's cheap, offers good def against other attacks styles and I think I could store summon scrolls in the helm. Magic att bonus is limited but overall I think that would be compensated by the better def. What do you think? How about magic battle robes? The one you must get and recharge in fist of guthix... (sounds like a pain already). Any experience with that? thanks, f
skylor12344
well personally i love my void sets because i use all 3 of them(mage/range/melee) and i use them very regularly at that. I would say its worth the time at pc(if u have a good team u can get it in about 3 days, 4 at the most).I've never tried the Battle robes and imho Splitbark is a complete waste of money. Draconic
Melee and range void are good, but magic isn't really good. Do NOT get splitbark. It's cheap for a good reason. I do not have a good magic setup (I never use magic for combat purposes) When you go feather dragon god, you never go back.
Tribbleman
Melee and range void are good, but magic isn't really good. +1 Melee is only worth it though, if the equipment slots that the void takes up provide less than 10% str boost, since the attack boost is not too noticeable... Also, for mage armor, go with ahrims if you have the money, if not, stick to basic mystic ;) PROUD Owner of Quest cape since 12/25/08 99 Attack Achieved 6/5/09Drops: Dragon Boots x5, Dragon Chainbody x1 (Dusties) Abyssal Whip x3, Abyssal Head x1Best single TT Reward: Saradomin Platebody + Zammy Page
Laura
Splitbarks minimal defence is negligable. Mystic is far better, or Ahrims if you can afford it. Mage Void isn't worthwhile to use unlike it's counterparts, range and melee.
