March 22, 200917 yr I downloaded Avira and it won't update, saying the internet connection failed. I was using AVG before, so I re-downloaded that after uninstalling Avira and had the same problem. Any advice?
March 22, 200917 yr It might be their servers are down, or the one that you're connecting to is. It might not be a problem at your end, wait 24 hours and try again.
March 24, 200917 yr Author I waited 24 hours, twice, and still doesn't work. Like I said, it didn't work with Avira so I expect it is a problem at my end.
March 24, 200917 yr You haven't got any firewall software/router settings that could be blocking them from connectig to the internet have you? "In the beginning, the universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move."
March 24, 200917 yr It could be an issue with your port connections. Have you tried manually updating it?
