The 1st one has blue...for some unbenounced reason, and the 2nd one has a bad camera angle, try to avoid having those rounded hilly things in the pic

the 3rd one should be used the. the 2nd looks very awquard, and the third looks like the sea of blood, and doesnt contrast enoguh. Lava is a brighter red and doesnt behave like water, it has whats called "plasticity" (Solid yet flows like liquid). It contrast more and has brighter colors, that seem a little bit hotter as the dull red seems cooler. You can create this in photoshop. So yea use the 3rd one.

the 3rd ne your using now is good, for the other 2 the cone shaped mountains just turn me off, use more layers, and fool around with the sun and atmosphere.

It looks alot like Bryce 5 to me. I wish though Bryce gave alittle more leway ( Did I spell that right? ) Because yeah, theres alot of possibilitys but the process's it takes you through are unessisary, it you allow for freehand sketching skys and clouds and other formations to get finite details in, then overlay with a skin.
