April 1, 200917 yr What I'm doing is im using a plain ethernet cable which I know works, plugging it into my mac which the internet is off of wifi, and I'm trying to get live from it. What am I doing wrong/how do I get live? I like stir fry
April 1, 200917 yr Plug it into the router. You can also bridge a connection, but I don't know if that is even possible on a mac nor do I recommend it.

April 1, 200917 yr I access Xbox Live by bridging the connection through my laptop running Windows XP and it works fine. I'm not sure how well it works on a Mac though.

Because then I could go over to my friends place and mooch internet off of, well. Anyone. Just get one of those garden hose wraps with the handle and everything for it. :lol: I like stir fry
