Problem with Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

Featured Replies

Ok, I've been having a problem getting Knights of the Old Republic (the first) to run on my computer. The install went fine, but then when I try to start up the game it doesn't work. Here's the wierd thing...After half a dozen tries, it randomly works and starts up for about 2-3 hours. The thing is though, I just have to sit and click the icon, sometimes for up to half an hour! It's really a waste of my time, but I really want to play it. Anyone else have this problem? Or can suggest something that might get it going?

It could be that your computer happens to be low of virtual memory. It's just a hunch, or possibly that your not giving it long enough to start up, maybe it takes 30 minutes to run due to low hard-drive space, undefragmented hard drive, or just some kind of glitch.
