High Runecrafting or Slayer?

Featured Replies

Well with my combine wealth of about 6m, I have decided to work on a skill that can produce great wealth at a higher level but I am not sure what to invest my time in. So i have narrowed it done to eaither slayer or runecrafting...

Keep in mind i have a 6m budget.

Here are my stats involving these 2 skills: 74 attack/strength, 99 defense, 99 hitpoints, 99 range, 99 mage, 99 prayer, and 75 summoning. 70 slayer, 80 runecrafting.

Slayer - id have the possibility of gaining great clue rewards, gain alot of range xp, gain lots of charms

i will mainly range my tasks

RC- simply 91+ rc would be amazing

Id use zmi until 91

if you ask me, go slayer...

...but thats just because I like slayer more then RC

Whatever one you like more.

Slayer is never *best* for charms/money/xp.

True, but i would say it is the best if you want all 3 at the same time ;)

If you're going for total experience I would say slayer; also the charms are nice..

But for runecrafting there is a MASSIVE profit if instead of ZMI at 82 you do double astrals(it's 500k profit an hour). It's about 10k slower an hour then ZMI but you make way more money.. I mean rc is really a grind even just to get 100k exp so you could get burnt our fast by it.

Range up? = Slayer

Ultimate secure riches? = Runecrafting.

:)

Rc = proffit tbh....

I made 100m+ my first month with double nats <3:

Well apparently runecrafting wins <3:

Thanks all

I'll put my 2 cents in here.

Do both.

Seeing as your runecrafting is higher than your slayer level, you'll probably get more out of runecrafting. However, both can be pretty good sources of money. Runecrafting wins from the aspect of how much cash you're getting out of it, but slayer is good to break the monotony. There is the chance of rare drops, and sometimes going to get a task is just a good thing to break the monotony of runecrafting. That's my personal strategy, using both (and just using multiple money-making methods in general), so maybe it won't appeal to you as much, but it's an option.

If you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.

Actually astrals are 430k an hour and 25k exp. Compare to ZMI at about 75k an hour and 50k exp. this gets you to 91 twice as fast, at 350kish less cash an hour.

saving 50 hours doing zmi or so, losing 17.5m, but can gain 50 extra hours of double nats at about 40-45m

Astrals fail. total time used = same, total exp earned = less. total cash earned = 20m+ less
