I'm sorta confused about how the sacred clay armor works. I know that they lose their charge while you fight with them, but what happens when you wear the full set of 4 pieces as opposed to wearing just one piece? Will they lose their charge at 1/4 the speed? Do you get 4x the bonus xp? Or is it a huge waste of charges to do that?

I can't be of the best help, but I remember the SC Claymates saying something about that, and I think the bottom line was that only the helm is worth wearing. I can't be sure of the full reasons (as I can't remember), but I do remember them saying wearing only the helmet is the best thing to do.

Here is an example I heard of.

 

 

 

Say that one piece of gear (Helm, Plate or Legs) lasts 10 mins.

 

If you were to wear 2 pieces, they'd last 20 minutes.

 

3 pieces would last for 30 minutes

 

And if you were to use the weapon as well, it would last 40 minutes.

 

 

 

Now if you divide that up it would be 10 mins per piece of gear, or what you get for using only the helm/plate/legs.

 

 

 

Reason people only use the helm is that it offers the least while in combat. Since the plate/legs/weapon can all be replaced by something much better they dont get used. And the helm pieces are about the cheapest to buy.

Basicly, I used the helm when I was using my melee brawlers, don't see a point in getting the other pieces when there are other pieces of armor that are better.

helm is actually less sc points, so that is why it is used.
