April 15, 200917 yr My "k" key isnt working right now and i want to take the key off to see if i can do anything about it. I know how to put it back on but i dont know how to take it off and i dont want to break anything. Any advice?

April 15, 200917 yr This might not be a tech problem. Some keyboards have these little keys working on sort of suction cups and sometimes they get stuck. Try pressing and wiggling. If that doesn't work, try pressing quite hard, and releasing slowly, if that still doesn't work, try releasing quickly. And if all of those don't work, it IS a tech problem. lol Proud owner of Questcape since 4th July 2009!! :D :D

April 15, 200917 yr Dell... No wonder the key stopped working lol. Anyway, yes, an external keyboard is good too, they're all usb now. Either that or you send the laptop to dell for repairs.

April 16, 200917 yr Could be you spilled a little bit of liquid on the keyboard, and it messed up the "K" key.
