Water
Heya. I have a suggestion for Clanchats. When you enter -or attempt to enter- a clanchat, you should get a display in which the clanowner ( and maybe even the generals ) can enter some information about the clanchat. With information, I mean the cc rules for example, or simply info about clan events or whatever. So when you enter a Clanchat with rules, you won't be needing to complain afterwords when you got kicked, after you broke one of the cc rules. - which were explained in the display - So, you enter the name of the clanchat. You get to see a display with info, with a button 'accept rules' You can enter the clanchat. I'd say, you have to press the 'accept' button the first 10 times you enter the cc, then you can enter in automatically. It can also be very handy for clan events. For example, you enter information about clanwars, other clan events, maybe info about the jagex cup, in the display. When your clanmembers will join the cc, they automatically see all the info they might want, without having to ask anyone, and without having any misunderstandings! I hope at least someone supports this ;) maybe a little example of such display? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hey, welcome to my clanchat. Rules: 1) No Spamming. 2) No Flaming. 3) ... 4) ... My generals are allowed to kick people who break any of the clanchat rules. Other news: We are having a clanwars event in w141 tomorrow at 8 pm! And 'fill in name' is having a Smithingparty tonight, everyone is invited! | Greetz Water is Nat | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- That's just an example of a few uses of the extra display ;) Greetz, Water is Nat. Clay_More12
Thats preety neat, because I have a official clan, and the cc name isn't big enough to tel what the event is, and people will follow the rules. Purgeelid
Support! Don't make them auto log in after 10 times though, because how will they know about events? Calling fishing a money-making skill would be an exaggeration. Not exactly funny, but a good quote, no doubt. Also, he probably doesn't know I stole this from him. Water
That 10 times was meant for the rules in the first place ;) There should be an option to review the display at all times, to check rules again, or the clan info. -new channel-
unkn0wnwarrior
Sorry :?, I don't find it necessary... Necessary? Maybe not... But it would help out in cases where the owner and higher-ups aren't online. I can see reason enough to support this. But I agree that it shouldn't stop after 10 times, unless it pops up again if any information is changed. Well, I don't know much (or at all...) about coding, and I assume it wouldn't be too hard. But for the mere chance that it would take time off different updates, or that it would be too buggy or have a major bug that people would abuse, I'd rather not see such an update. Carl
Ahhh, this is quite an excellent idea Water. I fully support it. I know how much of a pain in the rear it gets when you have people complaining that they got kicked. Hope some member of the Jagex staff read it, and implement it asap. EDIT: Post 666, is that a good thing, that it's in your suggestion? :-# RIP Michaelangelopolous

bommatjuh
i like the idea, although its not the most needed update in runescape, it would help in making runescape a better game. being a general in the chat i use most, it would mean people wouldnt be able to moan about being kicked :P support. bomma34

Clay_More12
Yes, we all know the top clans such as: DF, Corr, DI, VR and much more, and look at their Runehead, more then 100 people, which are mostly active, and I think a 100 man cap in Clan wars is quite small, so i'd say around 120? Zaaps1
I like the basic core, but the exact thing you suggested is way too much. At most you should have 3 lines to fill up, and if you can't get the message of "No spamming, no insults, etc." across in 3 lines then you have more to worry about than people you dislike in your CC. ~It's Super Effective! Distracted
I actually really like this idea, it kind of reminds me of TF2, where when entering a server you get shown a custom page with rules and such of the owners of the server. But would this be completely free or would it include just parts that you can fill in and others that are automatic?
