  1. Whoa is this conversation still going? I thought it was dead...
  2. Combining would be a bad thing, because over the years I've mined a lot of Rune Essence and Pure Essence alike, and I see it this way: If they were combined, many Members would stop mining Essence, as the value would drop (at first). Then, the already unstable population of runecrafters looking to buy essence would rise, as prices dropped. But as runecrafters rose, prices would rise, and p2p members would return to mine Essence. Thusly, the equilibrium was reached, and all is well. Now f2p members could make some cash. I'd say, however, that there is only a 65% chance that as prices dropped, runecrafters would go up, because no one really cares about runecrafting anymore. So my plan/idea may not work. Still, it's worth a shot.
  3. Yeah, I see where you're coming from. However, just because the economy is backwards doesn't mean it is such a bad thing for we Runescape players. Honestly, if we get paid more for doing less work, who's to blame? Canada?
  4. Actually I did misinterpret you: I thought, only for a second, that you meant 2 or 3 accounts from different games. I realize now that I was completely and utterly wrong #-o Oh well.
  5. The first 5 ideas have some worth to them, but honestly, you can't slack off now! Maybe the talking heads aren't beautiful, but considering that they are a completely useless and unneeded part of the game, I think they are good just the way the are. The only useful improvement would be voice acting, but I don't see that in the near future. Support to the first 5, none for 6.
  6. Um... You are kind of a little too late for this one? It's already been resolved.
  7. I personally love to be called a noob, just because i'm low level, not because i'm a d-bag, because then I get to make them angry. d-bag "Wow, lolz, u stupid noob! Lvl 3 omg rofl!" me "Congrats, I crown thee the bigger nerd!" Not the best line, but it pisses them off.
  8. Goodish debate and all, but I think that just taking away the maximum and minimum prices could be pretty sweet! I mean, yeah, it would screw things up for a while, but it would make things a lot more interesting. Disagree with me if you want, but that's why i'm here.
  9. If I did comebacks, i'd be just as low as you are, flaming on a newbie's thread. I mean really?
  10. Hmm... Has Jagex always supported multiple accounts? I seem to vaguely remember something back in... 2002? 2003? That they didn't want that type of thing... Oh well, all the more money for them. Anyway, pins to kind of bother me, so i'd rather just stick with the current system. How hard is it to just log into another account? And what is this stuff about using a multiple-game account? Did I interpret that correctly? So many questions...
  11. But I was having a fun flame war! Well, I do like the friend idea, but it doesn't help my charity. Still though, it's a good thing. I guess that pretty much sums it up, unless some d-bag wants to start a flame war... No? Ok, then. :(
  12. Well, maybe, but i'm not really sure about Jagex's stance on more than one account... Anyone know?
  13. Support! Don't make them auto log in after 10 times though, because how will they know about events?
  14. Support! The RS chat could really use a change.
  15. Oh, is that what you though? Well, gee, i'm sorry for not reading every post on every board ever. I didn't see any on the first page, so I posted mine. Is it now? Wow, I apologize for starting this thread that has helped me out a lot, even if not you. Also, I don;t read the RSOF, too many posts. Pull up your big boy panties and type like the rest of us. The magnitude of what your saying does not really have to have big letters to make it important. Caps lock really is overused these days... I say that's not enough. If I wanted to give a few players a few hundred gp, then why would I start this thread?
  16. Yeah, I guess so. Still it's not like the old days... In my opinion, RWTers and the Grand Exchange have pretty much ruined the game for me.
  17. Aye, I did read the article, and it was very helpful. Still, it doesn't solve my problem. I guess I may never be able to run a charity, unless Jagex does decide to legalize RWT, which seems unlikely at best.
  18. Very good point (not the tardo with the caps lock), and I agree that Jagex made the right choice, and it has been established that while the trade caps keep the real world traders at bay, I still don't like it. However, I honestly think that the root of the problem lies with how the Real World Traders get all the money. Honestly, if Jagex simply can make an effective method to stop them from running programs or whatever they're doing, the trade caps can come off, and everyone can do the whole charity thing. I know Jagex has made tons of anti-cheating methods, but can anyone tell me (first-hand, maybe?) how you can possibly get around them without getting banned? I for one, think Jagex has done a good job with the anti-cheating, so how is this still such a big problem?
  19. =D> I do like it! Big addition though, but I could definitely see them doing something like this in years to come. The quest requirements seem a little harsh, but i'm just not a big fan of quests. Still, great idea, I would really like to see this.
  20. Hatin' is when you forget the fact that we disagree on something and start insulting people and making a general idiot of your self. I don't mind people disagreeing with me, but I do mind people insulting my intelligence, and saying things like "Idiots like that make my brain melt." Well, gee, sorry for making your brain melt, and I hope you're sorry for being such a d-bag. If you have something valid to say, and you can responsibly handle the caps lock key, please say it now. No hatin'
  21. The moral of this story: Leave your SS in bank and always look at it and be like "Dang, if I take this, and die, i'll lose it" and there it will stay, for all of eternity.
  22. On a similar but almost unrelated note, i've used Gmail for all of the 5 years, even when it was a closed beta you had to get an invitation to.
  23. Personally, I think Jagex should forget about emotes and do something worthwhile, but I doubt they will, so sure, bring the old ones back. Heck, it make the people that made the new ones mad... But honestly, deep inside you, do you really think Jagex is going to take a step backwards? I do fully support you, however.
  24. Yeah! But they would probably make it mems only... Still, full-screen would be pretty sweet!
  25. Alright, you people do have good arguments, and for the record, I never wanted to start a hatefest (which is what this has turned into). I never meant that because you argued against me, I had some personal problem with you. But hey, it's the internet! Anyway, that used tissue crap has no place here (really guys? C'mon :| ) All I wanted was to say that I personally wanted to be able to give things to my friends and others, and this is the kind of thing where you are like, "Oh hey, that could work if: " Not, "Oh hey, you are [developmentally delayed]ed for expressing your opinions and you are a used tissue (Really?)" So please, if taking the trade cap off is not the way to go, what is? Suggestions?
