April 16, 200917 yr I'm itching to get me hands on them barrows gloves, and after the revalation yesterday that i only really need my cooking to 66 then pot it withs chefs delight i'm sorta praying for the same response here  So please people, is there any way in which i do not need the thieving requirement 100% for dt and that i can pot it in some way, shape or form? Also how far into the quest is the thieving part as i believe i can already start it? April 16, 200917 yr you can drink a type of beer you buy from the bandit bar that raises your thieving by 1, its what i did
April 16, 200917 yr Yes. You can use the Bandits Brew or an Evil Stew. But you'll need a lot of both since it can take a very long time. Took me over 100 lockpicks, but some people get it in like 4. -.- ~It's Super Effective! April 16, 200917 yr Author Pryamid plunder it is then -.- -.- I know that tip.it normally put the quest in the order that you have to do it, but reading through i guide it seems like i only need to have the thieving for one part........correct me if i'm wrong......if this is so, does this mean i can do the diamonds in any order? or do i have to start off with shadow etc? April 16, 200917 yr I did it with 70 atk/str/def/mage I meleed everyone except for the fire guy because I didn't have ice gloves. Bring some pray pots, monkfish, super set, super energies, and a 1click teleport for each and you'll be fine. Also bring restore potions for the ice diamond. quit
April 16, 200917 yr I maged all of them using the spells they're weak against with my mage level not higher than 66. For the Blood Diamond boss I used Protect from Melee and just ate when needed because he hits constant 5-5's. Just pray melee against Damis and bring prayer pots I used a couple of 4-dose Prayer Pots against him. The fire boss is very easy just wear ice gloves and pray. I'm not sure about the ice diamond boss all I remember is bringing 2 Super Restores.
April 16, 200917 yr You might not wanna use fire blast on Kamil, in case your magic falls too low accidentally. Fire strike works fine. ~It's Super Effective! April 16, 200917 yr just use bind/snare on the second form of Damis and you will do fine. for the other bosses, just pray and use the spells they are weak against and you wont even need a ppots (bring 1 just in case) [hide]visage drop 11/01/09goals:all skills 70+ (completed)all skills 80+98% Of teenagers surround their minds with rap music, if you're part of the 2% that stayed with rock, put this in your signature, ROCK IS BETTER![/hide]
April 16, 200917 yr You can't boost to 53 I tried it about a week ago. You just get a message saying you don't know how to do it. viewtopic.php?f=226&t=785953 ^new damis safespot which worked last week for me. 52 to 53 goblin chests are extremely quick if you get a method going. April 16, 200917 yr As I recall, you only needed to open that chest up to kill the shadow boss--so if you decided to put him off for the end, it could be waited on. And for me, that was one of the most frustrating parts of the quest--even with a higher than required thieving level, I still failed many times, and took tons of damage as a result. I ended up going to the minigame in burthorpe (whose name escapes me right now, haha), and bought a few hundred lockpicks >.
