Going for 99: Woodcutting exp rates?

Hi, I'm Cooldog08 and I am currently considering going for 99 woodcutting.

 

 

 

If you could give me any advice about experience rates, and give me any information about lumberjack clothing and using the seers headband and stealing creation tools, my thanks to you.

 

 

 

I am currently level 85, and am looking to get to 91, then to 99.

I'd say you're best off powercutting teaks in Tai Bwo Wannai or Ape Atoll.

Well, you can't blame a guy for trying to experience new stuff. That's what high school's for, after all.

 

 

 

WC CAN get upwards of 90k xp per hour at Ape Atoll teaks. In fact, according to Zarfot, it can reach up to 100k xp per hour, which is insanely high for this skill, if you are willing to pay effort roughly equal to that of Firemaking.

In reality, it doesn't matter where you cut, as long as there are enough teaks. Still, Ape Atoll is pretty close to a bank if you have the appropriate teleports. It's closer than Tai Bwo Wannai (you need trading sticks as well) and Mos le'harmless (very far from a bank and you need to pass the dungeon there. That means light source).

I found this to be a great guide on woodcutting. He gives various trees and locations to cut along with their exp/hr rates. I plan on training on eucs as they are quite fast and have some profit.
