April 20, 200917 yr Ok i havernt seen a good power mining guide anywhere so ill make my own with maps and things feel free to add corrections The Quarry is great for Powermining. The quarry contains 29 sandstone, 26 granite, 2 clay and 2 coal Level Req (to mine): Granite: 45 Sandstone: 35 Coal: 30 Clay: 1 Map to quarry: If you have completed the Enakhra's Lament Quest(link plz), you will have received a Camulet. This will teleport you right next to the Quarry! The Amulet has 4 charges and to recharge use Camel Dung on it! What to Take: Preferred method The Knife is to cut the cactus and refill your waterskins there are 3 of these to the south-east of the mine just click on the cactus it will either say dry or something else ok so now your there and you know where to refill your waterskins lets start mining if you have 45+ i suggest going for the granite and only the granite which looks like this Granite Sandstone Granite and Sandstone are also unique in the fact that there are certain weights of granite and sandstone to be mined. They come in the following weights and how much experience for each: Sandstone: 1 kilogram (30 xp) 2 kilograms (40 xp) 5 kilograms (50 xp) 10 kilograms (60 xp) Granite: 500 grams (50 xp) 2 kilograms (60 xp) 5 kilograms (75 xp) ok i have worked hard on this and made all the pictures etc my self please comment and i hope to see someone improving it Visit Hofs Mining Store

April 24, 200917 yr hmm....this isn't really a guide if you only have one place for powermining....my advice, you should turn this into an al kharid/desert guide, showing all the best spots for the different skills. i'd only give it a 2/10....and that's mainly because of the lack of f2p stuff

Those are the results of my experiment. Desert robes won out right, and never, ever, wear armor. It also kills me every time I see someone run to the cactus to refill. Bring several buckets and refill your waterskins at the fountain in the temple, or bite the bullet and get a water tiara.
June 3, 200917 yr hmm....this isn't really a guide if you only have one place for powermining....my advice, you should turn this into an al kharid/desert guide, showing all the best spots for the different skills. i'd only give it a 2/10....and that's mainly because of the lack of f2p stuff It's a guide to powermining at the quarry and it explains powermining at the quarry quite well. 2/10 is something that you would give to a nearly unreadable guide that shows some effort. This guide has pictures for clarity and it's easy to read, the layout works. Sure, it only covers a small amount of things and the method is quite well known, but those are really the only things separating it from a great guide. You should add some info on this guide, for example an exp/hour rate, the use of humidify to fill waterskins and the water tiara. Other than that I think the only way to expand this would be to cover other training methods for mining.
June 5, 200917 yr Ultimately, humidfy is better than the water tiara. It's cheaper AND you get mage xp. You also should mention the dropping technique (the method where you drop the rocks, but you're also mining at the same time, google it). So far this guide isn't very big. It's more of a restatement of basic facts. ~It's Super Effective! June 21, 200917 yr I have a few suggestions: - add camulet tele or the pharao's sceptre (to Ancients pyramid). - use water tiara ==> no waterskins needed - if you do want to use waterskins, fill up inventory except for 3 spots - add description of the most efficient way to mine: mine 3 then drop, or mine 1 and drop directly - a map with the best spots indicated + why - add humidify spell to refill waterskins (lunar spell) - add adze as possible pickaxe - try making the inventory pic look better... - add a tele to the inventory (glory or dueling ring) - bring accumulator for free arrows? - add mining boosting summoning familiars - tips section, maybe? August 26, 200916 yr So if I use a knife will the cactus it will refill all of my skins? Also is there guaranteed to be water in the cactus or is it random
September 15, 200916 yr You also might do a comparison between sandstone and granite. For example, I'm 70 mining and I get 2.85k xp/5mins (34.2k xp/hr) with sandstone and 3.2k xp/5 mins (38.4k xp/hr) with granite, so you might want to throw figures like that out there for users to see various methods they can use and how efficient they are. Perhaps at various lvl, what the avg xp/hr rate is. But I'm a numbers fanatic, so some may think that's an overkill :D - Speedyshel Website Updates and Corrections *..It is better to be hated for who you are than loved for who you're not..*
