Pyramid Plunder Help, Tips, Tricks and Guides. Need em all!

So I was thinking maybe I can do 66-98.9 Thieving with the 3 weeks I have left from finishing my fishing goal early.

 

 

 

I need information, tips, tricks, invents, set-ups (pictures would be great) guides anything that's up-to-date and includes how to go about PP with summoning.

 

 

 

I have access to a bunyip and the bank unlocked after completing Contact.

Well this is the information i can give you:

 

 

 

Method:

 

 

 

Room 1 - 4

 

Check Trap at start

 

Open Large chest in middle of the room

 

Check all the doors

 

 

 

Room 5

 

Check trap at start

 

Check Large Chest

 

Check every pot for snakes and then for loot

 

Check Grave (don't even ask me to spell the real word).

 

 

 

This way you should be able to get max exp per trip.

 

 

 

Inventory:

 

 

 

Take a few bunyip pouches along with a few Summ Restore pots. Anti-poison and a few monks for emergencies.

ooo, bunyip. bring it definitely. so ur just going for xp? bring sharks if u can afford lots of inventories full of them. Here's what i do:

 

1: use broom to get to sorceress' garden, exit it, get out 405 gp. (205 if u did mini-quest with Ali Morrisane)

 

2:go to shantay and buy a pass. de-equip broom. fill up rest of inventory with sharks/monks. get armor of ur choice, i prefer highest dragonhide u can wear.

 

3: ride carpet to Pollnivneach, then Sophanem. enter if u can, or go north to that person in Itchlarin's little helper quest and go through the hole.

 

4:enter pyramid plunder, try all doors. find the mummy and talk to him to learn how to play. once u learn, u can right-click him "quick-start".

 

5:go to 3rd highest room u can get into and plunder it and then do the other two. if the time bar is 2/3 green, skip to highest rooom. do sarcophagus last for all rooms, do golden chest at ur own peril.

 

6: once time is up, repeat 4-5. if u run out of food, operate broom to go to the garden and repeat 1-3.

Just loot gold chest in middle of the room after looting urns.

2 Super antis

 

Terrorbird scrolls

 

Cakes

 

 

 

Use terror, since sometimes you'll need to restore run.

Just my tips:

 

My inventory is 2 super antis, 2 energy pots, pharaoh's sceptre, and bunyip pouch. I just wear light prayer gear, weightless stuff, and wield the enhanced excalibur.

 

Then I just tele to the pyramid, do the steps that gorgoroth mentioned, and after 5 mins are up, I just teleport back to the pryamid and repeat. After 3 runs, then you recharge your sceptre and just get more trinkets. I don't bank them as I find that it wastes more time, you can if you want though. Just bank at cw/edge and teleport back.

 

 

 

EDIT: Actually I would check the chests in 1-3, loot as many urns as you can in room 4, loot chest, go to 5 and try to loot as many urns as you can. If you just check snakes in room 4, you'll have too much time leftover. Change as you can access more rooms.

My personal preference is Swig an anti as i enter, loot all the Golden chests en-route to the highest room you can get to (5 in your case) Then do golden chest, just steal from the urns, dont even bother looking for snakes, waste of time, and you really dont get any more exp for it and then once your done leave and repeat.

 

 

 

Edit: Forgot to mention, take bunyip and enhanced excalibur, should keep health plenty high enough. And use Bank gained From "Contact!" if you need supplies.
