This is my setup for Fight Caves (I'll be using Karil's X'Bow, I just don't have it yet)

 

 

 

 

I need a good inventory to take, In one of the spot I'll have my Enhanced Excalibur for the 20 HP and the small defense boost, also the 3 Ranging Potion that you should always bring.

 

 

 

My Question is what would be a good ratio of brews and restores for my last 24 spots? Or should I just use Muggi's and replace one of the brews there with the EE?

1) Bring Enchanced excalibur always

 

2) Use a shield: I recommend Blessed spirit shield. You get hit alot if you don't use one.

 

3) Bring 3 brews, i personally manage with excalibur only.

 

4) Use crossbow+ broad bolts, they are better and you get to wear a shield. Also cheaper. Only thing it does not have is the speed of karils bow.

 

 

 

Karil's bow vs Crystal bow vs Rune crossbow (A analyze)

 

 

 

Karils bow:

 

- Advantage: Fast speed

 

- Disadvantage: 2h so no shield (In a survival focused minigame like Fight cave you need defense)

 

- Disadvantage: Ammo costs and i believe you loose alot

 

 

 

Crystal bow:

 

- Advantage: Fast speed

 

- Advantage: Very good attack ranged for a bow, even with rapid attack style you have same attack range

 

- Disadvantage: 2h so no shield (In a survival focused minigame like Fight cave you need defense)

 

- Disadvantage: Costs alot to buy a bow in beginning.

 

 

 

Rune crossbow+broad bolts:

 

- Advantage: Good and very cheap bolts

 

- Advantage: 1 handed , so a shield can be used

 

- Advantage: Good range attack bonus

 

- Advantage: Better ammunition can be used (Diamond e for Jad for example)

 

- Disadvantage: a bit slow weapon

I agree with SirHemen, use a Rune C'Bow with either Broad or Diamond (e) bolts, you will save a lot of money.

 

 

 

Personally I wouldn't use void, especially if you haven't got one before because it has very low defence and no prayer bonuses.

Thanks for the help. I'm not to worried because the cost of those 3k bolt racks was nothing compared what i might have bought. I already started the fight caves and im on wave ~29. If i don't make it I'll try with the rune C'bow next time.

 

 

 

As for the BSS, i haven't done the quests so i cant get one. Same for the crystal bow, haven't done the quest so i couldnt use it.
