Sell items for more than what you bought it. Rather obvious :/

Merchanting isn't an actual way of making cash unless you have a good starting capital IMO. I wouldn't suggest seriously taking up merchanting unless you have 10 million. Prior knowledge would help and patience is a virtue in situations like these.

Hoping you have about 1 Million GP, you should start by merchanting food. It's where I started and stopped. Too much work..

 

 

 

Check the GE Graph on www.runescape.com , on, say Raw Sharks. (or cooked) Find the lowest point it has went to and wait until it gets to that point. Then keep them in your bank until they go rather high - Merchanting takes quite a while to get used to.
