If you always keep prayer on, you'd need about 4 or 5. You don't need that much prayer bonus either. Around 15 is fine, don't sacrifice speed for prayer. May 3, 200917 yr If you pray it takes only a few potions. The drops from the Spectres easily cover the cost. Even more so if you make all your potions from the drops. Don't forget to bring a super attack/strength pot to help in fighting. Also if you get any mystic/rune full helm/Lava b-stave drop these also cover the cost for the entire task. May 3, 200917 yr ok this is just me...i am currently doing abby specs too with the mage def method my gear: slayer helm fury black d hide body black d hide leg infinity boot regen bracelet ring of wealth ava acumulater total mage def: 102 on average i last about 35 kills with food alone...then an extra 8 or so kills with pray my levels are on my sig 43 kills per run is in no way fast, tbh. It's definitively slower than praying. However, it offers 1 benefit: more money. Not only do you not spent ~25k on prayer potions, but you get to bank more often, so you can pick up more herbs. In reality though, that small benefit isn't worth the loss in speed. ~It's Super Effective!
