TheHunted616 Posted May 6, 2009 Share Posted May 6, 2009 I am just killing Cave Horrors for my slayer assignment. The tip.it bestiary said to wear range armor, but I don't know what I should wear. So far I am wearing: Red Dhide armor Helm of Neitznot Abyssal Whip Climbing Boots Ring of Wealth Obsidian Cape Is there anything I should do about the shield or helm? Getting 70 Range would be advised though just so u can wear blk d'hide/karils for mage based melee tasks. SanNo1 Posted May 6, 2009 Share Posted May 6, 2009 I always wear a mix when i fight them, i wear a d hide body and melee defence legs, like barrows or rune. Just wear your shield, it's fine and don't forget that when you are training slayer, a slayer mask/ helm is a must. Cost close to 700k, but are worth it. And you might get lucky and get one as a drop from the cave horrors. cookie1762 Posted May 6, 2009 Share Posted May 6, 2009 If you can't afford black mask at this time, helm of neiteznot works very well. Thats what I used for the longest before I got my slayer helm. Like someone said above, you might get lucky and get one as a drop from cave horrors. Just don't forget your witchwood icon and lantern!
