Lobsters or swordfish

My fishing is level 55, and I'm wondering... which is more profitable per time? I can fish lobsters at Catherby and see=ll then for about 230-240 per lobster, or I fish Swordfish which is slower due to getting Tuna but they sell for 360-380 per swordfish. Which should I do? And if I should go Swordfish, what should I do with the tuna? Should I sell them at the nearby store or cook for XP and sell those too?

Lobsters, because they are more exp and faster. Faster means more gps. also because while trying to catch swordfish you get tuna..

I advise you to fish trout and salmon either at barbarian village, or shilo village if you have access, purely because it is fast exp, and you can sell the raws. But out of experience I'd say fish lobbies, and sell them raw, gaining you a tasty bit of gp :

At your fishing levels, lobster is better than swordfish. Though if I were you, I would go fishing at Lumbridge trouts/pikes/salmons for better XP.

Go for lobbies...... i do it at my level and it's much better than swordfish.

 

 

 

however one thing that people are picking up on is if you do fly fishing at lummy or shilo, or barb fishing and you get it to 62, and then do swan song....... you'll be able to gain better exp and some good money with monkfish ;) just a thought.

You should stick with lobsters until 70-80 fishing, whenever you feel like deciding to switch over. You will fish tunas/swordfish faster than lobs at higher levels and their xp difference is not that big compared to lobs + they sell GE easily. I have 88 fishing and have tested both out.
