I just noticed that my display picture and my posts (I've posted a few times) have disappeared. Did I get "erased" for something?

:wall:

Some places you don't get post count.

When was the last time you were online before today? Do you remember your post count being higher? Or do you just think that your post count is not going up? As Musky44 said, your post count does not increase in all forums. For a list of the forums which will not count towards your post count, view the following thread: Tip.it Forum Guide - Post Count. But if you specifically remember having a higher post count and it is suddenly lower, then it is a different problem.

In order to fully answer your question, we will need more details. When did you notice that your avatar disappeared? When was the last time you saw it? Did your post count go down at the same time as your avatar's removal? etc.

I had more: almost 190 - a unicorn horn and proud of it, and most of my posts were in the help and advice forum: I am sure that they are counted there. I first noticed it around 20 mins ago, before which I had already made 10 or so posts.

When did you remember your post count being 190? Was it earlier today or several days/weeks/months ago?

Literally only a couple hours ago I had more than 180 posts: 187 was the last I saw, I believe.

it's not really a big deal, but how did I lose over 150 posts?

Are you sure you aren't the owner of both ScreamTheCore and Cooldog08 and you just mixed them up? I'm guessing so because in this thread you're thanking people for the advice being given to him and he has 185 posts:

Nice catch Zimbu :) The IPs match too. It seems like the most reasonable explanation, given the coincidence that it has the exact post count that you say you lost (or almost) and there would be no reason for an account to lose all their posts, since we do not permanently delete anything.

It is... I just realized that. Firefox is set to auto-login Screamthecore on this computer, so when I left and came back...

Sorry for wasting everyone's time. This is probably the stupidest thing I have ever done.

Support transparency... and by extension, freedom and democracy.

Don't worry about it - I've made that mistake before too ;)

I'm glad that the problem has been solved :)

Thanks, lol.
