Advice on smithing/smelting.

Featured Replies

I'm looking to get my smithing up, but I'm aware that mithril bolts aren't profitable any more (Unless this has changed?), so I'm thinking of mining my own mithril and coal, then smelting them at Blast Furnace, then alching the products. Would this make money, or would I make a loss?

You make profit at BF because you only use 1/2 the coal.

Many believe that the 1980 eruption of Mt. Saint Helens was a catostrophic geological event, in reality it was the day that Jimi Hendrix returned to Earth from the next world and actually stood up next to a mountain and chopped it down with the edge of his hand.

blast furnace is definitely the way to go.

you could look into the other stacking items than an be smithed; darts, arrowheads etc.

Also you could consider steel in these items.

Yeah, but is there a market for the stackable items?

People looking for quick fletching exp usually go for that kind of thing. Look at the prices in the ge, you can usually get an idea of whether things sell or not from there.

Alternatively, try a small amount first as a tester before spending too much time/ money on it.
