Good gaming laptop from a UK onlinestore/retailer?

Featured Replies

I'm looking for a new gaming laptop from a retailer/onlinestore in the UK, My budget is (up to) 1250 GBP. I was thinking of using it as a desktop replacement, so I'm looking for around +4gb Ram (Max on most?) for image/video editing programs, a high-end graphics card for games and preferably a 17 inch screen with high resolution.

Had problems to find one online as they either had some kind of flaw (usually graphics card).

Thanks in advance.

PS: Lower taxes in the UK than Sweden  .

Gaming laptops tend to be £1500+, though for your budget you should be able to get something that will run things on medium-high. Pcspecialist used to have some good deals, but they've changed the graphics cards they've put in their laptops so they aren't as good any more.

Anyway, I had a look and found the following on laptops direct:

Is there a PC world, where you are Julius? They'll be able to help loads ;)

Yes there is actually, checked around last time I visited England, most of the laptops had really low end graphics cards though. Never asked a clerk though.

Asking a clerk would be better, as they'll be able to recommend some good laptops, perhaps compromised, but that happens all the time, right? Also, if you've seen a part of the store named THE TECHGUYS, ask there too
