Daveswizard
2 Things in your quest guide for this quest. You mention to take off your weapon before defeating the golem guard. The broken golem in the side chamber mentions that he was bashed by the looters so having a rune pick with me (thought I might need it yesterday) I just changed the attack style to smash and defeated him with the pickaxe. I would think any weapon that has a bash or smash attack option would work. {crew edit: a crush attack works, thus pickaxe with smash works.} You mention needing prayer restore potion to repair all of the destroyed statues if your prayer is below 70. I noticed that if you pray at a already repaired statue it restores your prayer. I do not know if this works before all of them have been repaired or not as I have 78 pray and didn't try until all had been repaired but if you can restore pray after repairing each one then you would need a lower level just to repair the first one then restore and continue on repairing the rest. [crew edit: per below post and error message, You must repair all the statues before You can use any of them to restore your prayer. A message pops up saying you must repair all statues before using there power.(i try to look for the in game text)] Edited May 14, 2011 by shasta_sms tracking changes needed

Lood333
Yeah you do have to restore all the statues before you can use them to restore your prayer points. Restoring your prayer points will also cause some damage to your hit points. Also I couldn't seem to hit the golem guard with a weapon so I just killed it bare fisted which also works. Daveswizard
Thanks for clarifying whether or not the pray would work before repairing all or not. As I said I did not know since I repaired them all first. I used my rune pickaxe on the golem as stated and it was a very short battle because of it. Since I can not do it again as I have only 1 paying account, I at this time can not prove it. I do not know if RS intended to have to use your hands and missed excluding using the pick or if any bashing weapon will work. Guess someone who has not done it will have to try out some things and let us know. Lood333
Yeah You can fight the Golem Guard bare-fisted because I think I took a Dragon Scimitar with me but I couldn't seem to hit the Golem Guard at all with it. Every time I hit it hit a '0'. So really I had no other way to kill it unless I banked and came back with another weapon but I wasn't sure what weapon to use against it because I did the quest on the Released Day. SportsGuy
I took an ancient mace and put it on the defensive melee option and hit 5s pretty regularly. Probably any mace would do. Strangely, it didn't seem to have much success on the other settings (attack and strength) so perhaps it's best on defensive settings...i don't know which bare-fisted technique that is... flares_dad
I had 70 prayer when I did this quest, but this was not enough for me to restore all of the statues in one go. I was 4 points shy for some reason and had to top up again to finish the last statue. I was full when I started the quest. I think it would be helpful to list in the quest guide as well as on the reward spot on the quest calculator page the other experience rewards you get from completing the quest and fully restoring the mummy, not just the experience rewards from the very end. Restoring the mummy completely yields: 2100 cooking, 2100 construction, 2350 crafting, 5000 magic, and 6500 prayer. Pretty respectable if it were a quest all its own. . . . Guldina
For the tile puzzle, I want to clarify how the damage works. Your solution in the walk through works, but does not completely crack the puzzle. If you initially test each color, you find that: ============================= Stepping on Raises this --------------|----------------------- Yellow | Blue Red | Green Blue | Red Green | Yellow ==============|================== When you step from the "Raises this" color onto the "Stepping on" color, you take damage. Stepping onto either of the other two colors is ok. So, ========================= If on: Don't step onto: ------------------------------- Blue Yellow Green Red Red Blue Yellow Green ========================= [Crew] Thanks for taking the time to write all this out! Unfortunately I will not be adding this to our guide because for our guide users all they need to know is a method that works not necessarily every little thing. To include such ways in every guide it would lead to things getting clustered which might actually lead to confusion. So that being said I am going to keep the way we mention the same. Do not let what I said discourage you from making future submissions to the site. If you have a problem that I did not include your submission into our guide feel free to PM me. Blackhawk79
I don't know if you guys already know this but a small fact: If you are wearing your Ring of charos (a) while trying to get a rug ride, you can haggle the price down to 75gp instead of the usual 100gp. This could save people a little more gold when traveling back and forth to the ruins. [crew comment: known - we just can't put every tip in a guide without making it too long, so players must use their travel ingenuity :) ] Edited February 10, 2010 by pokemama tracking changes needed
