Ranging Slayer/Monsters

Hey Guys,

 

 

 

So I'm going for 99 range but I'm not chinning. I'm going tro range slayer tasks, and abbies when I'm bored of that.

 

 

 

I'm looking for tips on what weapon is most effective to use? (Cost and XP)

 

 

 

I was thinking adamant/broad bolts or crystal bow, what do you recommend?

Broad bolts, rune crossbow.

 

 

 

Depending on what tasks you have, it'd be easier to tank. So I will list a tanking AND safing set.

 

 

 

Tanking:

 

Black dragonhide body,

 

Required helmet/Neiti or Archer (Archer is good! Nice attack and some defences)

 

Barrows legs,

 

Snakeskin boots,

 

Barrows gloves > dragon gloves > black dhide [bleep]y vambs

 

Accumulator,

 

Ammo,

 

Rune cbow,

 

Granite shield (or if not REALLY needed tanking, go with a guthix/zammy book)

 

Fury

 

RoL/RoW/Archers ring

 

 

 

for safing,

 

Void range set,

 

Bronze or Black knives (black are amazing, but bronze are apparently better)

 

Accumulator,

 

(I forget if Void needs boots.. If not, snakeskin obviously)

 

Glory or Fury

 

RoW

 

Zammy book

 

 

 

Obviously, archers ring doesnt really stack up against the RoW for good tasks.

 

RoL for first time tanking tasks if you have a bit of trouble or are unlucky.

 

 

 

I do advise to bring one Prayer potion every tanking task, it could be helpful. You might need to flick prayer, or pray to get out of a silly situation.
