RuneScape Information

  1. I love this update thus far, it's pretty nice. However, I wish I could have affiliation with more than one clan. But all in all, it's a well implemented update however I don't feel it's *that* great for clans whom have their own forums, IRC channels, etc. Meh, I also uploaded a video about the update with commentary a few hours back:
  2. Perhaps a monster drop from the Warrior's Guild as with the others, but you need to have had the drop yourself to wield it. That way at least it would keep in moderate fashion with the other defenders.
  3. I guess it wouldn't be available to players who are Quick-Chat-Only. As far as moderation goes, I guess reporting and saving sound clips would be how it would work, resulting in a ban from voice-chats in more severe cases. I could see myself accidentally swearing in front of someone who's going to report me, I wouldn't be using the voice-chat feature for long. It's definately something Jagex should consider, and ask players about their opinions - if they haven't already. Voicechat is almost essential for some team activities on RuneScape and would surely only add a little more to Jagex's pockets.
  4. With the release of Dungeoneering and Jagex's continued effort to build fruitfil team-based games and throwing RuneScape into the direction of many other MMORPG's... strongly guild/clan based. VoIP has become a more and more important feature, that RuneScape should have, but it doesn't. How would you feel if Jagex implemented a voice chat system into the Clan Chat system? Opt-in. Would this have any 'security' risks for our younger plays, and would it be able to be controlled feesibly? Having said that, we see VoIP chat on everything - Steam, XBL and much more. Most of which are played by players as young as RuneScape players. I feel it'd be a great aspect to add to the game, extremely useful, and more fun. Not to mention easy discussion of tactics in places such as Daemonheim and God Wars. I wasn't sure where to put this thread, but I went with suggestion-discussion for it's genre...
  5. Thanks, I've posted on that thread. I've also added you. I'd like to see a fully fledged Dungeoneering group/team formed too, with forums, ventrilo and the works. I'd do one myself but it's having the time to manage it, too. Plus, I got my own clan.
  6. Okay, I'm really into dungeoneering and enjoy it. But I'm looking for any clans/teams/groups that may have started up? I'm NOT looking for a fully-fledged RuneScape clan. I'd like a team that has a moderately higher joining req and access to Teamspeak, Mumble or Ventrilo for raids. If there's any out there, or you're in one - let me know. Thanks I'm 137 cmb, over 2k total and currently 68 dungeoneering.
  7. terrible fake, look at the chatbox closely Can't believe I didn't notice that! The image was passed around in IRC .
  8. Shame I would've never finished the quest (for now) if I noticed there was a short-cut right in front of me. I hope Jagex take this into account and give it to everyone who did the quest!
  9. What was your previous RuneScape name that you are listed under on the highscores?: themutedead What is your current RuneScape display name?: Geo Sh What Tip.it highscore list(s) are you currently added to?: None, I was on P2P I would like to be back there :) Thanks
  10. Well, whoever it is, that's quite impressive. Well done. And it's quite cool that RuneScape is in there. RuneScape is slowly taking over, yesterday I saw a membership card in Sainsbury's and today.. guiness world records. What next eh.
  11. Grats on the good drops. Anyway, like the others said it'll just be the fact you're getting your levels up (and perhaps have better gear?) so you'll be killing them faster. Sometimes we just have unlucky and lucky days. Jagex have been known to change drop rates in the past but that's completely irrelevant as it's normally done just for new monsters whilst the market stabilizers.
  12. The berzerker necklace it only useful when used with an obsidian weapon, which when training, preferably should be the sword. The berzerker necklace is completely useless for anything else whereas the fury is useful for anything (be it mage, range, just defensive). Overall efficiency you'd probably be better using the obsidian shield with a whip. The dragon square has slightly more defense but the obsidian shield has a +5 strength bonus, making it much more useful when training. You wouldn't want to sacrifice the +5 bonus when you can make up for the defense lost by wearing something different on your legs. Overall, anyway, I'd said go with the obsidian sheild. Strength bonus, and its cheaper - you can buy something better for your legs perhaps? For more defense if you need it.
  13. Your Clan Name (as you want it to appear): Solemn Hour A link to your clan's banner (please keep it under 810x250 or it will automatically be resized): http://warzu.com/solemnhour/Themes/Twil ... banner.png (Bit wide, needs resizing I assume this can be automatically done) A link to your clan's website/forums: www.solemnhour.info A link to your clan's runehead/memberlist: http://www.runehead.com/clans/ml.php?clan=solemnhour Your Clan Leaders: Geo and Niftyrevenge Your Clan Initials: SH Your Clan's Main Focus (ie. Warring, Skilling, Pest Control, etc.): No main focus. Community clan, wide range of events.
