Thanks for bringing this to my attention. ? The reason for this is that it will encourage clans to keep getting people to their fights. Also, when fighting matched the real turnout counts, so if one clan has to cut members to make it matched they can (with a screenie of course) claim points for everybody that showed up by a pic of the starting opts before cutting. Loge_05 Posted May 27, 2009 Share Posted May 27, 2009 No, you've misinterpreted the rules. The war was a 20vs20 - you don't receive points for bringing stragglers. The rule you quoted above is in place for a war such as a +/-5, where the number of opts is still undecided; or a matched war (20vs20), where one side only pulls 17 and their opponent agree to drop three, even if the rules say they don't need to.
