psvstef
Yesterday when i came home from the dog pound i found a jackdaw in the backyard. Bought an old birdcage and now it's on my bedroom :). I can get him out of his cage without problems and he likes to eat alot! Today he slept alot on my shoulder,it's such a cutie. I hope i'm allowed to keep it because my parents don't know it yet, they are in spain now :P i still need a name though [hide=jackdaw information]The Jackdaw (Corvus monedula), sometimes known as the Eurasian Jackdaw, European Jackdaw, Western Jackdaw, or formerly simply the daw, is a dark-plumaged passerine bird in the crow family. It is found across Europe, western Asia and North Africa, and four subspecies are recognised. At 3439 cm in length, it one of the smallest species in Corvus, the genus of crows and ravens. It is a black-plumaged bird with grey nape and distinctive white irises. It is an omnivorous and opportunistic feeder, and eats a wide variety of plant material and invertebrates, as well as food waste from urban areas. The Jackdaw has benefited from clearing of forested areas and is found in farmland and urban areas, as well as open wooded areas and coastal cliffs.[/hide] [hide=picture, not mine just a random one][/hide] share your experiences :)

deathdrow
This reminds me of this robin we had at school. I think he was either just completely tame, or retarted. He didn't really know how to fly, he was really friendly, and just sort of hopped around the field outside all day and ate worms, or tried to find worms. I liked him a lot, then one of the [wagon] jockey kids wanted to play football, and the bird wouldn't move, so he threw the football at it, and killed it. I was very very sad. He was a tiny bird. Shazarabbit
Beautiful bird, I'd watch its personality for a bit before coming up with a name. You might want to tell your parents about it first though. Also this really does belong in this thread. Good luck. Proud Tip.It Moderator December 07 - October 2009Proud TETAU Member 2006 - 2007 <3"I had a standing agreement with god.
