Hey i want to know if I can get to the island to kill yaks without any of the reqs for fremmy isles or will i need to get some up to get to the part of the quest where i unlock that/

It only requires a few steps of the quest in order to get to the yaks, you are not required to complete the quest. I am not sure whether it allows you to start the quest or not without the required levels, I know many quests do not.

you have to just start the quest then take the boat to jatizso then walk through the trolls and then you can take the boat to the yaks...or thats what i had to do
