They've served me well. They were worth it.

 

Actually, the last two pairs of headphones I've had have lasted a couple months and broken. These are nearing 6 months with no problems.

Funny, you know those Turtle beaches my firneds pictched in for my brithday? Yeah well those were breaking, and they got pretty bad up till around August.

So now I've been back to the 20$ sony headphones that I bought over 2 years ago.

Lets see.

$20 Headphones: 2 Years.

$170 Headphones: 6 months.

Yeah, I had a pair like that. They just didn't die. They sat in my drawer for 2 years after the mike broke, and I got them out again and they worked 10 times better than my new ones.

Thing is, they weren't dieing, like internally, it was more of the physical structure.

I have the ear pieces extending out, when wearing headphones/headsets, and the support for that was breaking, no idea why. All I did to them was wear them then set them down on my table. There was no reason for those supports to start breaking.

Just cheap plastic I suppose.

I have a $10 pair of LoZ headphones I got from Gamestop god-knows-how-long ago. Iirc, if I can be bothered to untangle them, they still work.
