well, there's this person who finds the secret for eternal youth, and long life.

 

not many people are cut out for long life, the medicine isn't going to last forever. she tries to make it last longer by weaving spells while using it.

 

there's this rich guy who has a wife that's ill. the witch doesn't believe that they should bring more kids into this world as she thinks the monarchy should end.

 

the rich king uses brute force to steal the meds.

 

they use all of it, because they don't trust the witch to cast the spell.

 

they have a baby, and the baby's hair is golden. when someone cuts it, it never grows back.

 

the witch takes the kid and raises her as her own child, locking her away from people.

 

the kid rebels. the witch dies.

 

what kind of kid kills their own adoptive mother? or marries the man that did?
