I was amazed at the amount of people who didn't understand the Modern Warfare storyline.

Yah. RDR is an epic game. Best game of last year by far. Didn't get 100% largely accidentally for no reason.

I didn't understand it (MW storyline). Granted I never really tried to understand and I skipped every cutscene I could, etc. But still.

Well see, people like you would miss out a huge chunk of the story since it was told in cutscenes.

I forget who it was I was talking to but someone didn't even realize that the guy you shot in "One Shot One Kill" was the bad guy in the rest of the game. They thought they killed him, despite the loud clear, "I think you blew his arm off." And the fact that in the end mission the guy shooting all of your comrades is missing and arm and looks suspiciously like that guy.

 

Someone else didn't realize you weren't Soap in "One Shot One Kill".

I also hate movies (for the most part). And reading novels. [bleep] STORIES.

halo 1 you kinda jump right into the story without a whole lot of background. If you read the "The Fall of Reach" though I'm pretty sure it explains everything.
