Also, autoplay is kind of like NERF guns. Yeah they can be annoying, but they don't really cause any harm, and its silly to keep them where you can get at them and then ask people not to play with them.

 

The multis of the same post I don't think is the user's fault either. And I'd be happy if you did away with it.

We totally had double posting back then too. I remember getting just as pissed.

The only problem I have with Autoplay is when someone leaves it up.

They don't bother to edit their posts.

I don't have a problem with a few double posts every once in a while. But when every page is 1/3 double posts, that annoys me.

On this thread, it destroys the meaning of the thread. The goal of this game, of this topic in the Forum Games section of TIF, is to be the Last One to Post before the thread dies. So basically, the thread is meant to die for a week, with no one posting despite having the opportunity to, etc. By double posting, you're saying, "I don't care at all about the point of this thread. [bleep] Protoguy, I'm better than him." And that's a problem.

I've already said it like three times: because it's excessive spam. Spamming is against the rules and this is the only forum where we make an exception. And tbh I'd think you would at least be thankful for that :P But we really don't need multiple, intentional, spammy posts made one right after the other. No I won't hunt you down if you double post now and then but if I do come here and see like 4 or 5 pointless posts in a row by the same person, that wouldn't be good. Honestly it just brings this already spammy thread down to a whole new level of spam. I get that you guys want to spam with each other, but do you really want to spam alone? I don't even see how that's appealing.

That's pretty much what we were doing before. The autoplay just got worse when the newbies learned how to use it, and abuse it.
