Two months here

Wait, when does the school end for you, before the winter holidays or the summer ones?

 

Here we get 2/3 weeks of winter holidays around july (now) and from December (unless you didn't pass all assignatures, in which case you have exams on those assignatures in the first weeks of december) to mid March.

The summer one. Our winter breaks here are usually two weeks.

Winter break is usually two weeks. I get off school around the 25th of June and come back the weekday after Labour Day in September.

How many months of holidays do you guys get over there?

Mostly what halo said, and we get like 2-3 weeks in winter.

School year ends in summer here. Maybe it's just that I'm used to it, but it seems like it makes more sense to have the school year finish right before the actual year, doesn't it?

We get so many days off.

 

There's one day off in October, Columbus Day.

Thanksgiving break in November.

Christmas Vacation in December.

Martin Luther King Day in January.

February and March usually have half days or inservice days.

April is Spring Break, again depends where you are in the US. April is when we have our Spring Break in New England.

May, inservice day, half days, etc.

Then summer break in June.

We have 17 national holidays, excluding religions holidays.

 

Time to do the dishes and take a shower.

We get so many days off.

We do.

There was a vote going around last year to make it so that we do go to school on Labor day, due to the increasing amount of snow days. It didn't go through though.
