shouldn't get any problem unless you're emulating PS2/GC

That's exactly what I'm trying to do

 

You're on a laptop, right? I don't think it can handle that much, not without a good GPU and at least I'd say a 2 core 3 GhZ CPU. If you're looking to be able to max most current gen games, I'd go for a Intel i5 2500k CPU, Nvidia GTX 560 and 4-6 gb of ram.
