Seany, what exactly is the name for the pins and stuff you get and wear that are in your sig? I've always called them just pins.

Best thread I've seen in a while

They're technically called ribbons. The red one means that i joined(maybe just served) during a time of war, the blue with 3 stripes means I'm qualified with the M16, and the Blue with 2 stripes and the E means I qualified Expert with the M9.

Does an Expert qualification do anything other than get a pretty E on your ribbon?

Not to the best of my knowledge.

Is that a good thing or no?

Seeing how when I played, I averaged 11+ hours/day, it's probably a bad thing.

Over the summer, I averaged 3 hrs/day. Now, on the days I play, it's only for like an hour and a half.
