I had my laptop open (the monitor is always lit up when it's open) and my headphones plugged in when I went to sleep. When I woke up, the earbuds were unplugged and the monitor was black. I thought I somehow broke it in my sleep, but it's working fine. I don't know what happened, but I'm glad it's okay.

My research into human interaction leads me to believe that weather is a standard conversation topic.

 

Three page assignment. The Role of Chemistry in Creating a Sustainable Future. Focus areas are Sustainable Energy, Sustainable Food, Sustainable Water, Sustainable Transportation, and Sustainable Materials (Reducing Waste and Pollution), or a hybrid discussion of the listed subjects.

 

Maximum of 40 points for describing the problem, describing a solution, the role of chemistry, sufficient depth, factual-ness, and appropriate length. Meaning this needs to be a well cited topic.

 

Does anyone have a suggestion for a specific topic I could use? I'm drawing blanks here, it's kinda hard to think when you feel like puking.

Talk about how PVC/vinyl siding is a replacement for more environmentally destructive aluminum and timber siding and that it was totally developed with chemistry

You can change the power settings, you know... so that when you close the lid, nothing happens.

 

Control panel > power options > select your preferred plan > change plan power settings for that plan > put the computer to sleep never > change advanced power settings > hard disk > turn hard disk off after 0 minutes (never) > power buttons and lid > lid close action > do nothing
