That reminded me of the scene in Pride and Prejudice where Darcy is saying that he doesn't have the ease of conversation that Elizabeth does, so she says that she doesn't play piano with the ease of other women, but contributes this deficiency not to an inability, but to a lack of practice. I'd like to think I've gotten better at talking to people in the last year, (or has it been 2?) so I thought I should probably try talking to you again. I enjoyed our conversations. Honestly, I think he's a pretty good example of what I'll be like when I'm old. He just sits at home watching TV all day. He's never had a girlfriend. His family's all dead. He acts happy all the time. I dunno. He does have friends, so I guess he has it a little better than I will. It probably means a lot to him when we visit.
