Was out on a walk and an old woman in her vehicle stops in the middle of the road to say "Merry Christmas" to me...

... she screwed up my train of thought for awhile. The elderly likes to screw me over sometimes.

Sounds like a nice old lady.

I'm tired and I want cookies.

But if I eat cookies, they'll keep me up all night.

Do you guys do all the traditional Christmas stuff?

I haven't done any since I was in 2nd grade, or around 7, so Christmas for me the past 10 years have been very meh-ish.

We do nothing for Christmas, we used to get the family around and such, but no longer. We exchange 'Merry Christmas's', ring a couple folks, tell them the same, take their gifts (Which is 9 times out of 10 just money nowadays) and that's that.

What do you mean by Christmas tradition stuff? Mostly here it's just getting together with my grandparents, my aunt and my cousin (distant aunt and cousins: optional) so we're a total of 8 people, eat a bunch of stuff, generally chicken or turkey for dinner, eat icecream or cake for dessert, at midnight open champagne/ cider and watch fireworks, and then throw fireworks some minutes later. When back from that, open presents.

We didn't throw fireworks this year, and there weren't many presents.
