So, I finally figured out how to till what direction is north in Minecraft. Now I just need to wait for the sun to rise so I can get back to my shelter. The island my respawn point is on is huge. I never realized this until I went looking for cows and got lost.Pro tip: Compasses. Not too far away is a lava flow right into water. All natural. I'm set for life.
