I think the American government just likes to watch the people's reaction.

I was referring to the species we're protecting.. and I'm pretty sure we are not protecting any dinosaurs. Right now, go and look at the endangered specie list and come back with a decent amount of animals that we are protecting, and are going extinct not due to us.

This alone shows that we are superior and that being superior is not always a bad thing. That's all I was saying. The environment is a part of nature. Usually the word "nature" implies anything outside the realm of humans. And even if we do cause extinctions, it doesn't cancel out the fact that trying to preserve them is a good thing. Like I said, we make the choice to preserve them.
