CAREERS

 

All players of Champions of Hell will probably want to work on a job. Posting in a seperate topic what job you wish to have, I will make sure your character does it while you are not playing, so you quickly earn enough respect to become a higher level job, paying you more money, and making you more powerful.

 

You can quit from all jobs, all jobs will give you specific abilities, and most careers will not get you much money, more experience, but are just to get you extra experience. Remember, you don't have to worry about your character doing their job, during all breaks from gameplay, your character will do his job.

 

Every time you complete a Career, you can take another.

 

All jobs are listed below:

 

 

 

Alchemist: Is able to create potions to sell, as well to save the party from death.

 

 

 

Artillerist: Gives you access to all military cannons, makes you a better shot.

 

 

 

Artisan: You can build pretty much anything other than weapons, armor, and shields, and then sell it.

 

 

 

Assassin: Kill important, and unimportant people. Gets a lot of money, and teaches extra fighting skills.

 

 

 

Charlatan: Trickster, a cunning liar. Makes a lot of money, but gets chased by the authorities a lot.

 

 

 

Cleric: Like a priest, they teach at sermons. Have good people skills.

 

 

 

Counterfeiter: Can counterfeit any document or any money (helpful to team, but can come back and bite them when police find out).

 

 

 

Demagogue: Speak a lot for a specific cause, giving good people skills. Players choose the cause.

 

 

 

Druidic Priest: Care a lot for animals, praise nature gods.

 

 

 

Duelist: Fights in arenas for money. Big celebrities in most parts of the worlds.

 

 

 

Explorer: Charts out new territories and explores them.

 

 

 

Fence: Merchants who barter unknown items for a lot of money. Could be buying crap, might be amazing item.

 

 

 

Forger: Reproduce popular artworks and say they are the original. Lots of money involved.

 

 

 

Freelance: Will do work for anyone, doing anything. A jack of all trades.

 

 

 

Giant Slayer: Simply, slays giants.

 

 

 

Gunner: Shoots for the army. Great at using archery weapons.

 

 

 

Highwaymen: Steal money from people, if the people do not give up money, they are murdered.

 

 

 

Judicial Champion: Known for "Trial by Combat" fights people on trial, if the person on trial wins, they are free...if not they are killed.

 

 

 

Lawyer: Protects his clients in court. Great speaking skills.

 

 

 

Mercenary: Leaders of small armies, usually quite powerful.

 

 

 

Merchant: Sells various items at whatever price they want.

 

 

 

Navigator: Stands on a ship and helps navigate it. Has good skills with maps.

 

 

 

Outlaw Chief: The chief member of a group of outlaws, usually hides in background.

 

 

 

Physician: Treats wounds. Great medic for the group playing.

 

 

 

Racketeer: A thug who thieves for a living.

 

 

 

Sapper: Engineers who can fix almost every machine known to man.

 

 

 

Scholar: Going to school to learn a bit of everything.

 

 

 

Scout: Scouts out lands for armies. Searches for enemies.

 

 

 

Sea Captain: Both captain of a ship, and a great fisherman.

 

 

 

Slaver: Sells, trades, and works slaves.

 

 

 

Spy: Spies for the government or army. Cunning, stealthy and very high tech.

 

 

 

Targeteer: Works as a marksman for a living.

 

 

 

Templar: A knight of the cross.

 

 

 

Torturer: Works in the castles and tortures people for information.

 

 

 

Witch Hunter: Searches and figures out what women are witches.

 

 

 

Wizards: Masters of magic and summoning.
