hey, i got a range pure..I don't remember when but i thought i heard something bout jagex updating d slayer so that people could range using shortbows..instead of a crossbow and ashield? if any1 can confirm this please do so

You can't use a bow unless you wanna take alot of damage.

If your a member it would be possible (protect magic + anti-dragonfire potion).

 

 

 

With F2P could try to stand well back with mage protect, but I'm not sure how much this would help tbh.

 

 

 

Just stick with C'bow and anti dragonfire shield.

You know you get a bunch of def xp so if you dont want to get your def up dont finish it.
