June 20, 200917 yr I herd of one somewhere in the US where a 7 yr old girl was expelled from her new school on her 1st day because she brought non-safety scissors to school. there was one just little while ago where someone got fined $50 dollars for dropping a $10 dollar bill. some of the people the government is hiring these days are just insane well that's littering
June 20, 200917 yr I'm sure if you'd point the gun at them they'd back down. If they keep charging then fire away. You never know if they're gonna pull something slick though. I believe that if someone has the intentions of murdering you, you shouldn't let morality get in the way of protecting your own life at all. The only reason they would be stopping is because they know they wouldn't be successful, but then there is always the future.

It's called littering. Unless it was an accident and some fine-happy cop sprang one on them as soon as the money fell from their pocket...

Of course it was accidental, who would drop money deliberately like that? Edit - Are you guys referring to this: http://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/scotsol ... -note.html or was this another case in the US recently? Stranger things have happened, but of course I would expect something like that to be accidental. I was hoping for background on the story more than anything else. If this is the case he was referring to, then he left out some details, namely the other side of the story: Last night a Strathclyde Police spokeswoman said Stewart HAD littered last Tuesday and twice dropped his price ticket. She said: An individual was seen throwing papers in the street. When he was spoken to he retained the money that hed accidentally thrown away, but then repeated his actions with the papers. He was issued with a fixed-penalty ticket.

I think with things like this though common sense has to used, I hate jobsworth types who rigidly stick to the letter of the law regardless of the situation. Traffic wardens are the worst for it.
