Brightness control on my laptop isn't working.

Featured Replies

I have a HP Laptop 6730s.

And the Fn+f7/8 brightness control isn't working, so I'm basically staring to a lamp all the time

Does anyone have experience with this?

How old is the laptop? It's probably just a loose wire.

You should be able to find a way to adjust it within the control panel, probably near the other power management options.

Yes, what OS is it? If you are on Vista it will be under "Graphics", not sure about XP though.
