I am training mining (lvl75 atm target 85.) its probly my favourite skill and I'm currently f2p making addy and mith bars at lumbridge swamp. I was just wondering how much xp/hour you guys get making bars ?

 

 

 

I know you can powermine but I'm not really into powertraining as I don't see the point. Is this the best place for me to train (money / xp ) ??

 

 

 

any mining tips would be great. thanks

edit: any maybe a list of xp/hour at various mining areas and methods would be nice to know :)

this is can help you...cause i did mining there till i got 99...on average i got about 15k xp per hour there if you do the super heating method there...it is slow work there but hey if i can do it you can do it...in the end it kinda pays off cause it help me get my smithing up to where it is now today...

 

 

 

i am not into time is money so just power mine it...i picture that it is a game and you should enjoy it...if i power level all my skills then what is the point of playing...you just have all 99's and do what in the game...that is just my opinion

while I dont have any rate numbers, your best bet is probably superheating mithril bars in the mining guild. Bring the runes and staff for superheat(wield it instead of pick I think) mine coal and mithril superheat bars when your inven is full.

Well f2p you should powermine iron if you want just Mining exp. Otherwise try making the bars in the Mining Guild and then leaving it every once in awhile to get the 3 Adament ores.
