Mourning's End Part 1 (Infiltrating the Mourners)

Under Step 8 in the walkthrough, apparently you have to use an empty Ogre Bellows. Mine was still full, so it took me a moment to figure out what was wrong. So, under Step 8 it should be noted that the Ogre Bellows should be empty for dye to be used with it.

Under Step 13, it says that the Barrel of Naphtha will appear in your inventory when the bar is fully green. This is incorrect, it will appear in your inventory (using up an empty Barrel) AFTER you close the window (ignore the fact there's already a Barrel of Naphtha in my inventory, this screenie was taken during the second attempt).

In addition, in the walkthrough it calls the device a "Fractionalizing Still", but it's called a "Fractional Still" (see above screenie). Also, if you know what you're doing, it'll take only 6 Coal to fill the bar green.

Additionally, you use the Barrel of Tar on the Fractional Still FIRST, before operating the Fractional still (before the Fractional Still window opens) (no screenie because I didn't know how to take a screenie that would prove this).

Under Step 16, it should say that the Grain inside the church is on the second floor (took me a moment to figure this out).

Toad Crunchies can be player-bought; doesn't have to be purchased from the Grand Tree food shop (this quest was probably released before Grand Exchange, so it would've been much faster to go to Grand Tree instead of finding a seller). So under Required Items at the top, or in Tips, Tricks & Notes at the bottom, it can be stated that Toad Crunchies can be player-bought.

Under Step 5, it says that you can't enter the Mourners' HQ and go under the trapdoor if you're wearing non-Mourner apparel. This is partially incorrect; you cannot wield right- and left-handed equipment and neck-wear, but you CAN wear a ring.

This screenie was taken during Mourning's End Part 2, but I'm going to assume that it also applies to Mourning's End Part 1. A familiar is allowed inside HQ and under the trapdoor.

I don't think a change is needed here. It may be that way when operating it, but I think it's listed the way it is for people to find it. Once you've found it, it doesn't matter what name it's called.

It is odd that it's not consistent, unless there is some purpose to it in operation.

i believe the fractionalizing thing is a jagex typo, not a guide typo.

the Barrel of Naphtha thing, maybe deserves a few words in the step just so people aren't freaking out about it not appearing and wondering if they forgot to do something.

is there really a market for toad crunchies. i still think that it would be much easier to just use the spirit trees to get to Gnome Stronghold than wait around for someone to sell it into the GE. But i suppose it could be mentioned.

good on the step 16 thing.

the rest of the stuff, unless otherwise said in the guide already, isn't really note worthy...

it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*.
