Aviansie tanking

I was thinking about training my range to 90 and i will be using aviansies to do so.

 

I was wondering if this setup would work well.

Fury

 

Saradomin dhide top

 

verac skirt

 

Barrow gloves

 

Unholy book

 

Snakeskin boots

 

 

 

I could replace the snakeskin boots with dragon boots.

 

Im just thinking that maybe ill get hit too much with a unholy book instead of a granite shield.

You should be fine with 90 defence

Don't bother with Dragon Boots, just stick with Snakeskin. And i hope you're using Ava's Accumulator. If you can, switch the Sara top with Zammy and just wear a Holy Symbol when you enter, or use Protect from Magic when you enter the GWD. This way you can use the Granite Shield instead.

 

 

 

I used the same gear except i had a DFS instead, and i did what i suggested above. If you want you can always get a Rune Kiteshield with a zamorak trim on it instead to give you the zammy item as well as a shield.

if your praying that would change things but bandos tasset might be a better choice, Its not a signifigant boost over torag though so its only if you already have a tasset.
