Blutters
I've finally found a Thieving route that isn't extremely boring! But I do have some questions. My friend (your fellow Tipiter Link) gave me a little walk through. From what he showed me, all you do is find all of the doors to the highest level you can get to, and then loot all of the urns, then the central box, and then the sarcophagus. I never knew it was so simple... Does it stay that simple for the higher rooms? We can both only go as high as 61. What do you do if you have extra time? Just leave? What about when we can get to higher rooms? Will we still have enough time to loot everything? Why do people go in there in Black Dragonhide and robes? I've been using max melee Defense and got to see a level 120+ torn apart by beetles... What does the mummy mean by she's resetting everything [after the scepter was found]? The deals were still looted for me. Why am I kicked/hit (apparently by the mummy) upon trying to enter the pyramid again [sometimes]?

I never knew it was so simple... Does it stay that simple for the higher rooms? We can both only go as high as 61.Far all levels what you do for max exp is: always loot the center golden box, search for snakes in all of the urns in the second highest room you can access, and then in the last search for snakes and then loot (Then the sarcophagus if you have time, you only have to open it not kill the mummy). What do you do if you have extra time? Just leave? If you do the method as follows extra time will be the least of your worries  , but yes. What about when we can get to higher rooms? Will we still have enough time to loot everything? Except for more time looting golden boxes the time shouldn't change too much. Why do people go in there in Black Dragonhide and robes? I've been using max melee Defense and got to see a level 120+ torn apart by beetles... Either so they can run for a long time or so they wont die of thirst in the desert exchanging the stuff (I just wear robes and pray if I need to fight anything, altar in the town so it's not too much of a hassle :P ). What does the mummy mean by she's resetting everything [after the scepter was found]? The deals were still looted for me. If you click to continue the game will reset, but if you just continue looting nothing will happen. Why am I kicked/hit (apparently by the mummy) upon trying to enter the pyramid again [sometimes]? This happened to me once too...I have no idea, just try a different door... http://i700.photobucket.com/albums/ww6/aspeeder/Siggy_zpsewaiux2t.png 99 Strength since 6/02/10 99 Attack since 9/19/10 99 Constitution since 10/03/10 99 Defense since 3/14/11 99 Slayer since 8/30/11 99 Summoning since 9/10/11 99 Ranged since 09/18/11 99 Magic since 11/12/11 99 Prayer since 11/15/11 99 Herblore since 3/29/12 99 Firemaking since 5/15/12 99 Smithing since 10/04/12 99 Crafting since 9/16/13 99 Agility since 9/23/13 99 Dungeoneering since 1/1/14 99 Fishing since 2/4/14 99 Mining since 2/28/14 99 Farming since 6/04/14 99 Cooking since 6/11/14 99 Runecrafting since 10/10/14 9 Fletching since 11/11/14 99 Thieving since 11/14/14 99 Woodcutting since 11/20/14 99 Construction since 12/03/14 99 Divination since 2/22/15 99 Hunter since 2/23/15 99 Invention since 01/20/17 99 Archaeology since 5/14/22 99 Necromancy since 11/22/25 Quest Point Cape since 08/20/09 Maxed since 2/23/15 Fire Cape since 02/27/13 Slayer: 3 Leaf-Bladed Swords, 8 Black Masks, 2 Hexcrests, 26 Granite Mauls, 5 Focus Sights, 33 Abyssal Whips, 9 Dark Bows, 1 Whip Vine, 3 Staffs of Light, 15 Polypore Sticks Dragon: 10 Draconic Visages, 7 Shield Left Halves, 20 Dragon Boots, 40 Dragon Med Helms, 8 Dragon Platelegs, 6 Dragon Spears, 20 Dragon Daggers, 5 Dragon Plateskirts, 1 Dragon Chainbody, 63 Off-hand Dragon Throwing Axes, 19 Dragon Longswords, 27 Dragon Maces, 1 Dragon Ward Treasure Trails: Saradomin Full Helm, Ranger Boots, Rune Body (t), Saradomin Vambraces, Various God Pages Misc:1 Onyx,1 Ahrim's Hood, 1 Guthan's Chainskirt, 1 Demon Slayer Boots
Lord Diddy
Does it stay that simple for the higher rooms? We can both only go as high as 61. Its basically the same concept go to last room and thieve everything, if your having significant time leftover then you can search loot some urs before your highest room. What do you do if you have extra time? Just leave? I think its better to do what I said above (haven't really plundered much, mainly blackjacking) What about when we can get to higher rooms? Will we still have enough time to loot everything? Usually there is enough time to get through every room and loot the last. Why do people go in there in Black Dragonhide and robes? I've been using max melee Defense and got to see a level 120+ torn apart by beetles... I suppose its light armor with decent defense, usually people pray with light prayer armor What does the mummy mean by she's resetting everything [after the scepter was found]? The deals were still looted for me. Someone looted a Pharaoh's Spectre, doesn't affect you much other then the doors changing. Why am I kicked/hit (apparently by the mummy) upon trying to enter the pyramid again [sometimes]? The door to enter changes everyone once in a while, iirc 20 mins. SportsGuy
The 'hit' is just letting you know that that's the correct door you have to go in. It's random. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't, but it's ALWAYS the correct door, until the timer clicks over to choose a new random door out of the four where the mummy can be found. Tip.It has a good guide, which I've actually helped contribute some small research on. http://tip.it/runescape/?page=pyramid_plunder.htm [hide=My Stats]Attack:86/Hitpoints:88/Mining:74Strength:86/Agility:76/Smithing:75Defence:86/Herblore:74/Fishing:78Ranged:86/Thieving:73/Cooking:92Prayer:78/Crafting:82/Firemaking:86Magic:85/Fletching:77/Woodcutting:88Runecraft:71/Slayer:80/Farming:88Construction:70/Hunter:70/Summoning:69Dungeoneering:18Total level: 1936295/303 Quest PointsCombat Level: 117[/hide][hide=Interesting Links]My BlogSportsGuy's Short Guide to Ghostly WarriorsFamiliarisation Reward Research[/hide]
Blutters
Thanks all! I've found out some additional things as well. And I've been using your tips! The entire thing isn't as random as it seems - everyone in your instance has the same path. Also, the door into the pyramid and possibly also the path inside remain the same for around 5 min. and the door in is also the same for everyone. These facts make it clear that doing it on the theme world is a better option than alone, as people can search different doors at once, meaning less trial and error individually. What exactly is the theme world? #-o
