Apparently he changed his name to just Diddy because when fans were chanting his name, they'd get confused as to what they were chanting, "P. Diddy" or just "Diddy". So it'd sound really stupid with half saying one and half the other.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Pretty lame reason though if you asked me... must be going to his head all this fame business.
