1. Go to www.runescape.com

 

2. Click on "Play Now" --drop down -- "Free User" and it's in the URL which is the first time it has been there, so I'm checking before I even log in

the first part simply means you are on the rs website, the bold part tells you the location on the site. I believe that specific url is for ftp play area (not sure what u would call it).

Scanning my C Directory right now with AVG 8, and it's found nothing, not to mention I just got this laptop like 2 days ago

But yes, that does seem a little odd. Even though it's gone, DL a keylogger detector (KLDetector works fine, AntiKey Log is a little more annoying. Google both) and type random stuff into the log in page and try logging in. If something gets detected(Make sure it's not just harmless FF logs), then take the necessary precautionary measures.
